BETDAQ is a website operated by Ladbrokes International plc, whose registered office is 57-63 Line Wall Road, Gibraltar. BETDAQ was acquired by Ladbrokes plc in February 2013.
BETDAQ is powered by a betting exchange platform operated by Exchange Platform Solutions Limited, a company licensed by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (the “EPS Platform”), with the EPS Platform based on the number one betting exchange technology in the world. The EPS Platform is also used by a number of other sports betting brokerages and websites for sports betting and risk management and uses state-of the-art proprietary software, developed with a number of partners, and is fully protected by copyright in the European Union.
The EPS Platform matches in excess of £75m worth of bets from customers and brokerages around the world each week so when you bet with BETDAQ you know that your bet is backed by the strength of a global business and global sports betting markets.
BETDAQ believes that security is paramount. To this end, customer funds are held for BETDAQ customers by (i) a specially incorporated entity ("BDQ Member Funds"), a non-operating company which is independent from BETDAQ and (ii) on trust, by a trust company ("Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited"), which is a subsidiary of Ladbrokes plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange and the ultimate parent company of BETDAQ (BDQ Member Funds and Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited, together, the "Customer Funds Entities").
In order to further maximise the protection of customer funds and to preserve their integrity, the Customer Funds Entities are structured as follows:
BDQ Member Funds
BDQ Member Funds is incorporated as an unlimited liability company and its sole purpose and business objective is the management and custody of customer funds. BDQ Member Funds' mandate requires that it must hold and retain any customer funds received in entirely separate bank accounts from those of BETDAQ; customers are further protected due to the unlimited liability corporate status of BDQ Member Funds.
Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited
Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited is a trustee company that has been specifically incorporated for the purpose of holding customer funds on trust for customers of the Ladbrokes Group, including BETDAQ, and its sole purpose and business objective is the management and custody of customer funds of the Ladbrokes Group, including certain BETDAQ customer funds. Ladbrokes Trustee Company Limited's mandate requires that it must hold and retain any customer funds of the Ladbrokes Group received in entirely separate bank accounts from the Ladbrokes Group operating companies, including BETDAQ.
Each of the Customer Funds Entities hold relevant BETDAQ customer funds in bank accounts that are specifically dedicated to this purpose.
BETDAQ uses Payment Trust as our secure payment service provider.

Ladbrokes International plc is licensed (RGL No. 010) by the Government of Gibraltar and regulated by the Gibraltar Gambling Commissioner
BETDAQ believes in a socially responsible attitude to gambling. It has worked closely with GAMCARE, the National Association for Gambling Care, Educational Resources and Training, to ensure that it does everything in its power to provide an enjoyable betting experience for its customers and yet recognise that betting can cause problems for a small minority of the public.
In addition, it takes extra measures to verify that customers are over 18, and does not accept certain payment cards that can be offered to minors. These measures are approved by GAMCARE.
